Healthy Slow Cooked Fall-Off-the-Bone Ribs

A rib recipe made to please the entire family, but also made healthy to support different lifestyles

Ingredients
  

  • 2 racks Back Ribs
  • Salt & Pepper As desired
  • Garlic Powder As desired
  • Chicken and Rib Seasoning Season generously
  • 1 tbsp Non-Sugar Free BBQ Sauce If desired
  • 1 tbsp Sugar Free BBQ Sauce If desired

Method
 

  1. Lay racks of ribs flat on sheet of aluminium foil
  2. Add preferred seasoning (e.g. salt, pepper, rib seasoning, etc.)
  3. Wrap ribs in aluminium foil (ensure no holes or gaps in foil)
  4. Place aluminium foil wrapped ribs on baking sheet
  5. Place baking sheet in oven - temperature 350 °F
  6. Let ribs cook for 2.5 hours
  7. Remove ribs from oven, open foil packs and use tongs to remove ribs from foil and place directly on baking sheet
  8. Add preferred sauce using basting brush (sauce not necessary if plain is preferred)
  9. Place the baking sheet back in the oven on broil (high) to finish (watch closely as sugar will burn)
  10. Remove tray from oven, cut and serve as desired
